Bug Description
Behaviour:
The fan speed remains on the same level after the kernel was booted. That means that the fan is still off when the Laptop is booted with cold hardware, the fan remains off, leading to an emergency shut down at100°C.
If the system is booted when still hot, the fan is turned on at maximum speed. The fan stays at this speed, even when the system has cooled down.
This problem did not happen before upgrading from 13.10 to 14.04.
When I boot an old installed kernel (3.5.0-44-generic), the problem does not occur.
Expected Behaviour:
Fanspeed is selected to actual temperature of the system
