Bug Description

On my Toshiba Satellite C655-S5501, since I updated to kernel version 3.5.0-46, I've been having problems with 'Enable Wireless'.Whenever I turn on 'Enable Wireless', I get a syscrash and have to hard reset my laptop. This happens 9/10 times. Sometimes it doesn't crash and I can use my computer without any problems. Sometimes, it doesn't crash when I enable wireless, but then if I turn off the wireless and reset it, it occurs again. This problem only exists for kernel version 3.5.0-46 to 3.5.0-48. Previous kernel versions do not have this problem and so I'm using kernel version 3.5.0-45 as it is stable for me.

Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest v3.15 kernel[0].

If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following tag 'kernel-fixed-upstream'.

If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the tag: 'kernel-bug-exists-upstream'.

If you are unable to test the mainline kernel, for example it will not boot, please add the tag: 'kernel-unable-to-test-upstream'.
Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug as "Confirmed".

Thanks in advance.

The above link doesn't exist so I tried to install v3.15=rc2-trusty. I installed the image file but couldn't install the header file in the package. Software Center and cmd-line-install gave me 'Dependency is not satisfiable' error.
