01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GK107GLM [Quadro K1100M] (rev a1)

With both nouveau and nvidia drivers.

Ctrl-alt-F1 , ctrl-alt-f7 workaround unlocks things..

This seems to happen more when browser windows with lots of images are open.

Is it related to these messages from dmesg?
