Thanasis Naskos, could you please advise on what noticeable performance impact this has on your system, if any?

As well, could you please test the latest mainline kernel via http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.15-rc2-trusty/ and advise to the results?
