I have just reproduced the fix you described in post #17. I am now able to use my Dvico Fusion Dual Digital 4 again!
I installed the packages linux-image-generic-lts-vivid linux-headers-generic-lts-vivid
The net result is linux-image-generic-3.19.0-49-generic linux-headers-generic-3.19.0-49-generic
and my tuners work at last! Thanks for doing the hard work and figuring out what fixed it! Ben.
