for us the problem is not solved! we can't install ubuntu an hardware with LSI SAS1068E. now we get the next problem see attachment. we have DO AN additional test:

we have install ubuntu 13.10 and upgrade to 14.04 with latest kernel and have set rootdelay=120. we must multiple restart server to boot system.

so its not possible to use the most dell hardware with 14.04.
