Did this issue just start happening after a recent upgrade or update? If so, we can perform a bisect to identify the commit that introduced this bug.

Also, would it be possible for you to test the latest mainline kernel which is 3.14-rc1? It can be downloaded from:
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.14-rc1-trusty/
