I also got this problem, I've tried two Thinkpad Pro Docks, and they both have the same problem. Tried to reinstall Windows on my T440s, where the docking stations worked fine.

I'm now running Ubuntu 13.10 with 3.11.0-14-generic, and I'm in dire need of a fix to this problem - so please do! :)
