Sorry, I misclicked. Again:

Hi Stefan. Thanks for taking a look at this. I just tried your patch link-train-delay.patch against the 3.13 kernel from kernel.org on Linux Mint 16 (fully patched). My experience with a T440 and an UltraDock:
(just quick tests, if you want details, please ask)

1) Booting the PC in dock (no monitors attached) and then

1a) attaching a DVI monitor to DP1 (DVI-DP adapter):
    - Freezes for ~1min then the monitor works
1b) same as 1a) but with DVI directly connected:
    - Same result as 1a)
1c) connecting both the DVI as well as the DP (DVI-DP adapter):
    - Freeze ~1min and then the monitors come up, but, as mentioned in Comment 95, they are mirrored and appear both as DP2 in xrandr
1d) connecting VGA:
    - Seems not to work for me. Maybe I didn't wait long enough.

2) Booting with monitors attached to the dock:
   - Depending on which configuration I attach, it boots with the ~1min delay or it drops me to a busybox shell because of a timeout

If you want I can provide some additional logs if necessary.

So, all in all, the patch did not solve my problem. The annoying 1min delay still exists. :(
