Kernel panic Ubuntu 12.04.2

Bug Description

I am having dell inspiron 1545 laptop. I am getting the above mentioned message when I try to update Ubuntu 12.04.2. All the minimum logs are attached herein.

This bug is missing log files that will aid in diagnosing the problem. From a terminal window please run:

apport-collect 1267321

and then change the status of the bug to 'Confirmed'.

nakul, thank you for reporting this bug and helping make Ubuntu better. Could you please confirm this issue exists with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ . If the issue remains, please just make a comment to this.

I am running on slow network connection (max speed 30 KB) it may take a lot of time to download any ISO mentioned at http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/.

IT may take a lot time for downloading from the above mentioned website.

nakul, ok. Feel free to use at a terminal:
wget -c http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/trusty-desktop-amd64.iso

so that in case it gets disconnected, it will resume the download where it left off, instead of forcing you to start from the beginning.
