Comment 0 for bug 1259255

I was trying to diagnose network errors on this machine and found that Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, -56 and -57 will show the following with ifconfig:

eth0 is the wired ethernet and is not in use on this machine. The machine is only using wlan0. I need to check -55 more, but I think that it did not exhibit the problem. I don't know if the network issues I am seeing on the machine relate to this or not.
