The kernel from your ppa is not working for me. I installed:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:inaddy/sf00069767
$ sudo apt-get install linux-image-3.13.0-33-generic
$ sudo apt-get install linux-image-extra-3.13.0-33-generic
# rebooted into linux-image-3.13.0-33-generic
$ uname -a
