I just bought new hardware and right now It looks like these freezes are no more. What I changed:

CPU: AMD athlon xp -> INTEL e8500
MOBO: VIA -> ASUS
ACCELERATOR: LEADTEK NVIDIA -> ASUS NVIDIA

Maybe it will be of some help.
