@Pierre: Could you attach /var/log/installer/syslog and /var/lib/dpkg/status ?
I can't, because are from a different install (reinstalled with quantal and then upgraded to raring).

#ubuntu-kernel suggested it this bug might be a duplicate of https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1070427
