I can't reproduce this bug. I used to use the Broadcom additional driver with linux-image-3.5.0-17-generic kernel and it worked fine. After the upgrades (linux-image-3.5.0-17-generic --> ... --> linux-image-3.5.0-22-generic) it didn't work any longer, then I disabled the additional driver and wifi worked again.
However, now even if I enable the Broadcom additional driver, the wifi works. So it seems the kernel upgrade broke the additional driver, but disabling it (and enabling afterwards) helps and now I can't reproduce the bug.
