Thanks for the report. I'll try to update the AMD drivers with 3.5 kernel tomorrow and report back.

It would be nice if you could attach the logs you mentioned, so I can compare them. Could you also post your current working /var/log/Xorg.0.log, "dpkg -l | grep fglrx" and dmesg output after a clean reboot?
