- Running Ubuntu 12.10 amd64.
- Newest BIOS installed.
- Problem belongs to third group (as defined in https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/Debugging/Backlight): "Backlight control does not work, but there are entries in /sys/class/backlight."
- Neither fn+left/right nor system tools brightness control works. Adding "acpi_backlight=vendor" to bootparams fixes the problem.
