Thanks for testing. We will have to test 8 to 10 kernels to narrow down the commit that fixes this bug upstream. That is why I posted the previous kernel was the first.

Yes, the correct way to install the kernel is to install the two .deb files.

The next test kernel is available and built up to commit:
320f5ea0cedc08ef65d67e056bcb9d181386ef2c

Can you test that kernel and report back if it has the bug or not?
