I also noticed that after installation the system boot with kernel 3.5.0-9

It would be interesting if /boot/grub/grub.cfg could be extracted manually. I wonder whether maybe 3.5.0-9 is sorted before 3.5.0-10. But even the older kernel should have an initrd...

Yes, I just saw on my manual install that somehow we end up with the initrd of the newer kernel but the older kernel is the only one in /boot and grub.cfg is missing the initrd line in that case.
I believe this is a problem with the installer.
