Comment 3 for bug 1026959

Ok-i followed the link about capturing oops ( https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelTeam/KernelTeamBugPolicies#Capturing_OOPs ).
have installed the package that it asked for. i have googled on how to find the oops log (http://www.pls-mc.com/content/view/221/374/) but /proc/kmsg doesnt display anything (doesnt open) and the other method does not work.

Am I missing something???

Will test upstream kernel later on today and will post results back tomorrow.
