I have tested under both physical machine and VM. The VM resides in my physical machine. My physical machine has a 4G memory.

For VM, the snapshot finally could be gone, but it takes about 7-8 minutes to delete it. It is LONG, but well it finally succeed.

For physical machine, the status is still "deleting" after 30 minutes. Even it will succeed eventually, it is already beyond anyone's expectation.

Well, I don't think it is normal. Have a try when it is convenient for you.
