I am afraid no developers have time to look into your problems, because they seem to be something specific to your hardware. We can not accommodate software to work around the broken BIOS of one user, right? You also have mention somewhere that you have broken your installation by changing file permissions en masse.

You should try to install from scratch with fresh filesystems, using for instance only 2GB, since your BIOS messes up higher memory from what I understand.
