Why do you not have /proc mounted when you run the upgrades? Can you please attach your /etc/fstab?

In what context are you doing the upgrade?

Why do you have linux-wlan-ng installed?

It seems that you have filed a number of bugs that can not be confirmed by anyone else. Are you sure you don't have faulty RAM or other hardware issues? Do you have a special setup? Please describe it shortly.
