Comment 20 for bug 241753

create /etc/modprobe.d/uvcvideo.conf and put the following line there:
options uvcvideo timeout=10000

after reboot you can use the following command to make sure parameter setup correctly:
cat /sys/module/uvcvideo/parameters/timeout
