Comment 22 for bug 131368

With 2.6.22-10, the same symptoms are present on the Compaq nc6320

No sound ouput, and the "mute" ligjht remains lit. Pressing the mute button brings up the appropriate mute / unmute graphic on screen.

alsamixer does not show a master channel.
