Comment 592 for bug 88746

There are plenty of detailed logs in the comments (including my own) that are presented to help fix this long-standing bug.

I think it is a cop-out to say that all the *other* comments invalidate this bug.

I request that the bug be re-opened.

By all means delete all other non-useful comments.
