After few days of "no flooding", I have again same problem with Ubuntu 7.10 RC and Final Release (both in Live mode). I don't know if this problem depends from kernel or other components.
Alan Stern (Kernel Developer) says: "Note that it's entirely possible that the problem is triggered not by the
kernel but by some other part of your distribution (like an initramfs image).".
Any ideas?
