Comment 6 for bug 175406

Unfortunately, those instructions won't work for me as, if the Hardy kernel is the same as the current one, I can't *install* Hardy in order to do package management tasks...

Is there an easy way to manually install that kernel somewhere it can be found by a i386 installation?
