Comment 78 for bug 162671

Can someone explain to me why the vt6656_stage module was silently dropped after oneiric? Debian has this driver in *all* of its current distributions, from stable to experimental. I'm usually not the complaining type, but here's a hardware issue preventing people from using Ubuntu and the devs apparently care more about integrating stuff like Angry Birds into the desktop. No wonder people are moving to different distros. I'm seriously thinking about switching to Mint or even Debian.
