I set back the status to Triaged and according to your comment, I remove the Milestone for 8.04.1 . I hope that I don't break your work, but it sounds like a mistake to me that this bug status is set to "Won't fix", especially considering the number of duplicates and the fact that it cause ubuntu to not boot on several computer, including some which were sold with ubuntu pre-installed and that are Canonical approved.
