Comment 56 for bug 134680

Having the same problems on a T42, I downloaded the 2.6.24-2 kernel as suggested and I was able to enter suspend mode and to resume. However I had other problems, probably due to not downloading all that is necessary to allow my system to function with this kernel version, such as wireless networking.
