I have a toshiba portege M400 which has an integrated GPRS/3G card with an onboard SIM. This has been activated and works under Windows XP, but it doesn't seem to be detected under Ubuntu Gutsy running 2.6.22.

Whilst Dell laptops are not the same I was going by this guide:- http://www.net42.co.uk/os/linux/d620_3g_datacard.html which suggests that I should see some device under /proc/bus/usb/ which I don't - it's empty.
