I did not get a chance to try non DHCP static connections. I will let you know asap.
My network controller Broadcom Corporation BCM94311MCG wlan mini-PCI (rev 01) is working 100% fine with Gutsy, kernel 2.6.22-14-generic, compiled ndiswrapper 1.47, bcmwl5 drivers and nm.
