Actually, my laptop is a Gateway M685 -- the non-consumer version of the NX860. Video card is NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600. Gateway actually does not have any proprietary ACPI modules -- they just have standard ACPI 3.0 code, likely in order to comply with Microsoft's desires for Vista.
