External and internal mics don't work on Acer TravelMate 6292 with the linux-backports-modules.

It seems that the external mic can work with alsa 1.0.15 (the linux-backports-modules contain only alsa 1.0.15rc3 AFAIK).
Is it possible to update linux-backports-modules with alsa 1.0.15 final ?
