I'm now running on Hardy, and the problem still exists. With tne 2.6.24 kernel, the sleep works flawlessly, but hibernation is still the suck. One thing I've noticed is that when I bring it out of hibernation, then put it to sleep and bring it out of sleep, the problem goes away.
