I can confirm this. After update to 2.6.20-14.23 dmesg looks as Stanislaw Pitucha wrote above.
But the previous kernel 2.6.20-14.22 also doesn't work for me (bug #105424).

The controller is
00:1f.1 IDE interface: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) IDE Controller (rev 01)
