Comment 20 for bug 96230

Here's an interesting twist: I can confirm the loss of sound after resuming from hibernation. Also, when I have power management set to "do nothing" or "blank screen" with lid closing, the screen will not resume. I have to press ctrl-alt f1 and then ctrl-alt f7 to get back to gnome. However, after resuming from a hibernation and sound breaking, the screen resumes just fine after closing and opening the lid. Any ideas?
