Ubuntu 8.04 LTS (Hardy) Live-CD works fine with my D-Link router. At the same time, Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid fails to connect to, for instance, the LiveJournal website. Workarounds with sysctl.conf suggested above do not help.

I confirm this bug for the latest Intrepid version with the linux-image-2.6.27-7-generic package installed.
