I have a USB HUB. Some things don't really work well if plugged into the HUB, eg. my Canon scanner only works in USB 1.1, not 2.0 mode (that is, without the ehci_hcd module). Maybe there's a problem with ehci_hcd and this HUB?

lsusb says my HUB is:
Bus 001 Device 004: ID 05e3:0606 Genesys Logic, Inc.
