Comment 296 for bug 88746

I can confirm the workaround posted above, to connect the usb-1 devices via an external hub instead of directly on the root hub. Oddly enough, the usb hub I am using is usb-1 only; I would have expected the workaround to work only when using an usb-2 hub.
