It appears that the problem of Bug #62685 persists in kernel 2.6.20-6.

Install detects my orinoco card flawlessly; DHCP autoconfiguration succeeds.

On first boot into newly-installed system, prism2_cs and prism2 are loaded along with orinoco, orinoco_cs, hostap_cs, and hostap.

Blacklisting prism2 and prism2_cs (as well as hostap and hostap_cs) forces orinoco_cs and orinoco to load properly. iwconfig will succeed, but dhclient will time out.

Additionally, orinoco_cs gives this warning:
