Comment 117 for bug 84964

I get the same errors as in this thread but on an Acer Travelmate 270 laptop. lspci doesn't have any jMicron controller listed and I'm fairly certain from the hardware spec that my laptop doesn't have that controller. What information can I provide that would be helpful to fix this?
