I'm using Ubuntu 8.04, and It doesn't work either. In past versions the system didn't respond at all after resuming from pause. Now, I got the X working and the mouse too, but still don't have any response from keyboard. The only way to make things work again is rebooting with the mouse from GDM.

I don't think it's only in FAST cycles.
