I tried the l-u-m v10.25 and it did not work at all. My sound card was not detected at all with the new module which was a regression from when just the headphones worked. However, if I use the kernel module (/lib/modules/2.6.22-10-386/kernel/sound/pci/hda/snd-hda-intel.ko) instead of the one from lum, everything works perfectly including the speakers. Is there someway to tell it to load the kernel module instead of the ubuntu module on startup?
