Forest: I reported (duplicate) Bug #81713 with this issue; the bug can be forced within 24-48 hours by running KTorrent: just fire up KTorrent and load some popular torrents like the Ubuntu CD+DVD images...
Is there a way to get stuff from edgy-proposed (the update manager currently only takes stuff from the 'official' repositories?
