OK So I installed the latest kernel 2.6.20.1 with ndiswrapper 1.38 yet still am having the same problems. I get the following in my dmesg when I try to do any type of scanning on the wireless card:

 ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): eth1: link is not ready

Is there something I am missing?
