This is a tricky problem. For what it's worth, you could fix the problem once
and for all by swapping the order of the PCI cards.

In the long term, we should probably have a blacklist of audio devices which
should not be the default (bttv, modems, etc.), and enforce it. I'm not sure
what the best implementation would be, though, since currently the devices are
scanned in PCI order, so we don't get a chance to "go back" and add a device as
a secondary sound card if we skip it the first time around
