Comment 102 for bug 43961

Can someone from the Ubuntu team give some more clarity on the status of this bug?

Ben Collins suggested in an earlier post of this bug that we try the
Edgy sources to see if it was fixed there. The bug has also been
assigned to Linux-kernel-bugs #6431 (But that bug report has had no
feedback for 2 months)

The problem is that it's not clear from the responses to this bug that
someone's actively looking into it for dapper or if they are looking at
it, where is it listed actively elsewhere?

How can we help?
Should we be submitting our log's to an edgy bug or this one?
Should we be submitting feedback to Linux-kernel-bugs #6431?
Is there any clear feedback to this bug even if it is being worked on elsewhere?

This is an absolute show-stopper bug for Dapper servers. You just can't
install dapper on a headless server if the server is not capable of
rebooting flawlessly.

I'd love to help and have posted what I can but I'm not sure if it's
helping and I'm not sure what more I can do to help with this horrible
bug.
