The workaround/solutions proposed there work for me:
1) If you do not need p&p wireless (e.g. using a pcmcia card) then you can work around the issue like that:
# sudo mv 85-ifupdown.rules 85-ifupdown.rules.bak
2) Otherwise follow the directions given in https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/wpasupplicant/+bug/44194/comments/10. (I didn't test this solution myself but several other report it to be working as well.)
This workaround does NOT solve problem part 1 (CCMP: decrypt failed). So please keep the bug report open.
And again problem part 2 (connection is down after boot) is a duplicate of https:/ /bugs.launchpad .net/ubuntu/ +source/ wpasupplicant/ +bug/44194.
